  The P.T.A. Thrift Shop, Inc. mission is to distribute profits to support the Chapel Hill-Carrboro PTAs, generated by the responsible operation of a thrift shop business. Our objective is to acquire by various means donated goods of all kinds and descriptions and to sell these goods in a general merchandising shop for the benefit of the PTAs. The Carrboro Thrift Shop: The Carrboro store is located at 103 Jones Ferry Road, at the West Main St. intersection, phone 967-1272. Store hours are Monday - Saturday from 8:30 am until 6 pm. The Village Plaza Thrift Shop: The Chapel Hill store is located at Village Plaza, 103 S. Elliott Road, phone 942-6101. Store hours are Monday - Saturday from 8:30 am until 6 pm and Sunday, 1 pm to 6 pm. The Donation Center, also at Village Plaza, is located at 99 South Elliot road and is open Wednesday - Saturday from 8:30 am to 6:00 pm. Phone 942-9412. Call 417-0553 to arrange a truck pickup of large items. All locations are closed on the following days: New Year's Day, Easter Sunday, Mother's Day, Memorial Day, Father's Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and Dec. 24, 25 and 26. | |||
